Nathan Pettyjohn is the Founder & President of The VR/AR Association. Nathan has over twenty years of experience in the media and technology industries.

Nathan’s previous roles include Commercial AR/VR Lead at Lenovo, Chief Marketing Officer at Quantum Capture, and Founder & President of immerse Global Summit (formerly VR/AR Global Summit). Nathan also served on the Board of Directors for The Magic House, St. Louis Children's Museum from September 2017 to June 2018.

In their role as Commercial AR/VR Lead at Lenovo, Nathan managed a team and led the global go-to-market strategy for Lenovo’s ThinkReality enterprise augmented reality and virtual reality hardware and software solutions. Their team at Lenovo included product marketing, partnerships, customer success, developer programs and professional services. Nathan interfaced daily with Fortune 500 customers, hardware and software product managers and multiple business units within Lenovo to integrate AR and VR into comprehensive solutions that helped enable our customers' digital transformation.

As Chief Marketing Officer at Quantum Capture, Nathan was responsible for leading the company’s marketing initiatives. Nathan developed and executed marketing plans to support Quantum Capture’s sales goals and objectives, while also managing the company’s branding, public relations, lead generation, website, and social media efforts.

Nathan founded immerse Global Summit in 2016 as the premier event for the virtual reality and augmented reality industry. The summit brought together leading companies, developers, investors, and entrepreneurs from around the world to discuss the latest VR/AR innovations and trends.

Nathan Pettyjohn received a BA in Advertising Communications and Business Administration from Drury University.
