Ryan Chapman

Ryan Chapman is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. As the CEO and Co-Founder of Motive.io since June 2015, Ryan has been instrumental in developing a platform for interactive training in augmented reality, virtual reality, and web applications. Ryan also serves as a Committee Member for the VR/AR Training Committee at the VR AR Association since July 2018 and presides as President and Tech Lead at RocketChicken Interactive Inc., focusing on location-based alternate reality games. Ryan's technical expertise is further demonstrated through a history of founding software companies and holding engineering positions at notable firms, including TiVo and Microsoft. Ryan holds an MSc in Computer Science and a BASc in Engineering Physics from The University of British Columbia.
