Shannon Ghere

Shannon Ghere has extensive experience in development and communications, currently serving as Senior Managing Director of Development for the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association since October 2017. Ghere has held multiple leadership roles focused on scholarships and student support, building on a prior experience at Instituto del Progreso Latino from October 2012 to October 2017, where Ghere was Director of Development and Communications. Earlier positions include Development Officer at Abriendo Mentes and various roles in development and advisement at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Ghere began a career trajectory with internships at Vital Voices Global Partnership, U.S. Senator Herb Kohl's Office, and involvement in campaign management. Ghere holds a BA in International Studies, Political Science, and Women's Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completed in 2010.
