Angus Loten

Angus Loten is a seasoned reporter with extensive experience in business and technology journalism. Since June 2010, Loten has been with The Wall Street Journal, where participation in the team earned a National Press Foundation "Shutdown Feddie" award for exceptional reporting during the 2013 federal government shutdown. Prior to this role, Loten reported for Inc Magazine from 2005 to 2009 and worked at the Toronto Star for a brief period in 2004. Earlier experience includes reporting for The Montreal Gazette from 2001 to 2004 and a brief internship at Time Magazine in 2001. Loten began a career in journalism as a copy editor at Post Publishing in Bangkok from 1996 to 1999. The educational background includes a Master of Science (M.S.) and a Master of Arts (M.A.) from Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism.
