David Uberti

David Uberti is a seasoned journalist with a diverse background in reporting on media, politics, technology, and urban affairs. Currently serving as a Markets Reporter and formerly a Cybersecurity Reporter at The Wall Street Journal since March 2020, Uberti has also contributed to VICE News as a Media Reporter from 2019 to 2020. Prior experience includes freelance writing on housing and urban issues from 2014 to 2019, reporting for outlets such as The Guardian and HuffPost, and serving as a Media Reporter at Gizmodo Media between 2017 and 2018. Additionally, Uberti was a Senior Staff Writer at Columbia Journalism Review from 2014 to 2017, where coverage focused on political media and the news business. Uberti holds a Master of Arts degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and a Bachelor of Science degree in Middle East Studies and Journalism from Northwestern University.
