Miguel Bustillo is an experienced journalist with a career spanning over three decades, currently serving as the Deputy Standards Editor and U.S. News Editor at The Wall Street Journal since August 2008. In these roles, Miguel oversees national affairs coverage, leading teams of correspondents and expert reporters on critical topics such as education, immigration, and real estate. Prior to this, Miguel held various editorial positions including Global Energy and Climate Editor and U.S. Energy Editor, contributing to the paper's comprehensive energy reporting. Miguel began their career at the Los Angeles Times from 1993 to 2008 as a reporter, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from New York University.
