Sophie Caie-Merifield has a diverse work experience in various roles across different companies. Sophie started their career at Thames & Hudson as a Picture Research Assistant in 2005. In 2008, they interned at HSBC as a Trade Services Chain Intern. Sophie then worked as a Curatorial Assistant at the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia in 2009. Later that year, they joined the Department of Scotland & Europe at National Museums Scotland as an Assistant. In 2011, they worked as a Front of House Assistant at Crofton Roman Villa, Kent Archaeological Rescue Unit, and as a Visitor Experience Assistant at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Sophie joined The Wallace Collection in 2015 and held various roles, starting as a Corporate Membership & Events Administrator and progressing to Corporate Membership & Events Officer, Senior Events Officer, Venue Hire Manager, and currently, as the Head of Commercial & Front of House.

Sophie Caie-Merifield pursued their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Classics from the University of Cambridge, which they acquired from 2006 to 2009.
