The Wallis
Debra Piver currently serves as the Director of School and Youth Partnerships and Interim Director of Education at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts since July 2023. Piver has extensive experience in theater education, having held positions as a Resident Teaching Artist and Associate Director of Education at Center Theatre Group from September 2008 to June 2023. Additionally, Piver worked as an Adjunct Professor at California State University, Northridge from January 2014 to December 2022 and served as the Director of Education at Cornerstone Theater Company from 2002 to 2007. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Educational Theater from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Theater & English from Wesleyan University.
