Anuradha U. is a seasoned professional in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Director of AI & Machine Learning at The Washington Post since September 2025, where responsibilities include leading initiatives in Conversational Search, Personalization, and Revenue Optimization. Prior to this role, Anuradha held various significant positions at Shipt, including Director of Machine Learning focused on Search, Ads Monetization, and Personalization, and Director of Machine Learning Engineering for the ML Platform. Anuradha’s career began as a Co-Founder and CTO at NP Visit, followed by roles at Snagajob, Gallup, Comcast, University of Minnesota, IBM Research, and eBay. Anuradha holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and has completed a Professional Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University, along with multiple degrees in Computer Science and Software Engineering.
