Danielle Abril

Danielle Abril is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in technology reporting and editorial leadership. Currently serving as a Tech at Work Writer for The Washington Post since July 2021, Abril previously worked at Fortune from December 2018 to June 2021, covering major Bay Area tech companies and related legislative issues. As the founder of DigiNews DFW, Abril led content creation for a digital source focused on technology and business news in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Other notable roles include Managing Editor at D Magazine and Tech Reporter at the Dallas Business Journal, where Abril launched a daily Tech Flash newsletter. Earlier experience includes editorial positions at The Dallas Morning News, Business News Group, and an investigative internship at KTVT | CBS DFW.
