Jake Russell is an accomplished sports journalist with extensive experience in multiplatform sports editing and writing. Since September 2013, Jake has served as the Multiplatform Sports Editor and Sports Writer at The Washington Post, producing hundreds of articles and breaking news stories across various sports. In 2014, Jake founded JakeRussellSports.com as an independent source for D.C. sports coverage. As an author, Jake published "100 Things Nationals Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die" in 2016, with a subsequent release in 2020 following the Washington Nationals' World Series victory. Additionally, Jake has held various writing and editorial roles at What's Up? Magazine, TheHogs.net, and Capital Gazette Communications, contributing significantly to sports journalism in the region.
