Joe Moore

Joe Moore is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as the Design Editor for Climate and International at The Washington Post since October 2016, Joe oversees design across multiple platforms. Previous roles include Lead Sports Designer at The Boston Globe and Lead Sports Designer at Asbury Park Press Design Studio, where Joe managed design work for 15 newspapers in the northeastern U.S. Earlier career experiences include positions as a Graphic Artist and Multimedia Coordinator at Gannett - The Daily Journal, where Joe designed various graphical elements, and as a Graphic Artist, Copy Editor, and Reporter at Columbia Missourian, focusing on infographics and proofreading. Joe holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, obtained in 2006.
