Nicky Wolcott

Nicky Wolcott is a High School Sports Reporter at The Washington Post, covering local high school football and girls’ soccer since August 2023. Nicky has previously served as a Sports Reporting Intern at The Charlotte Observer and held multiple roles at The Diamondback, including Sports Editor and various beat reporter positions covering men's basketball, men's soccer, men's lacrosse, and women's soccer. Additionally, Nicky gained experience as an Editorial Intern for Sports Business Journal, contributing articles during Super Bowl LVIII, and has interned at CSZ Network, Capital News Service, Herald-Mail Media, and iHire, developing a strong background in sports journalism, data reporting, and content creation. Nicky holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland, earned in May 2024.
