Kal Getachew

Kal Getachew is an experienced bartender and mixologist with a career spanning several prominent establishments, including Conrad Washington, DC and The Watergate Hotel, where Kal currently serves as a bartender and head bartender/mixologist, respectively. Previous roles include bartending at caprese Mediterranean restaurant, Jackson 20, and serving at Fiola Mare. Kal's diverse experience also includes various positions at Goodwin House. Educational qualifications include a degree in General Engineering & Mathematics from Northern Virginia Community College, a mixology certificate from Bar Smarts, and certifications in Advertising from Google Creative Campus and Strength and Endurance from the American Sport and Fitness Association.
