Guya Merkle is the founder of VIERI Fine Jewellery, a company dedicated to responsible business practices and high-quality jewelry since 2015. In 2017, they co-founded the wearness GmbH. In addition, since 2013, they have also been the founder and board member of the Earthbeat Solutions Foundation, where they focus on promoting sustainable gold mining and creating alternative income sources for small-scale miners. Previously, they worked as an assistant to the management at betterplace.org from 2007 to 2008.
