Meieli Sawyer

Meieli Sawyer has a diverse work experience in various communications and media roles. Meieli began their career at Splash News as a Celebrity Journalist in 2007, where they gained experience in reporting on celebrity news. In the same year, Meieli joined b5media as a Writer and worked there until 2010. Meieli then joined LimeLife, Inc. as a Lifestyle Editor in 2009 and stayed until 2011. Meieli's next role was at About.com, where they served as a Fashion Guide from 2007 to 2013. Finally, Meieli joined The Weinbach Group in 2011, first as a Communications Specialist and later as the Director of Communications, where they are currently employed.

Meieli Sawyer began their education at the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, where they completed Short Courses in Specialist Fashion and Journalism from 2004 to 2005. In 2004, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Design at Syracuse University, which they completed in 2008.

Continuing their studies, from 2005 to 2006 Meieli undertook Portuguese Language Studies at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Meieli then enrolled at Western New Mexico University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Master of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on English Language and Writing.

Currently, Meieli Sawyer is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Languages, Linguistics, and Literature at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, with an expected completion year of 2024.
