Andrew Neilson

Andrew joined Weir in 2010 as Head of Strategy then taking over responsibility for investor relations and corporate communications. He joined the Group Executive in December 2014 as Director of Strategy and Corporate Affairs.

In June 2017 Andrew joined the Minerals division as Vice President Finance and IT, before taking on the role of Chief Integration Officer in May 2018 to lead the integration of ESCO into the Group. In January 2019 Andrew moved back to Europe to lead the ENAR region for Minerals.

In January 2020 it was announced that Andrew would succeed Jon Owens as President of Weir's ESCO Division in July 2020. Andrew formally joined the Group Executive team in April 2020, beginning a formal handover process with Jon. Andrew formally assumed his role of ESCO Division President on 15 July 2020.

Prior to Weir, Andrew held a variety of roles within banking, energy and professional services companies, including HSBC, HBOS, Scottish Power and KPMG. Andrew holds a Masters degree in engineering from the University of Strathclyde and is a qualified accountant.
