Danish Ali

Danish Ali, Ph.D., is a Senior Research and Development Engineer at The Weir Group PLC since May 2022, focusing on advancing automation solutions through artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision. Previously, Danish served as a Research Scientist at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, managing R&D projects for Caterpillar, and as a Research Assistant at Missouri University of Science and Technology, developing machine learning models to optimize operational processes. Danish has a solid academic background with a Ph.D. in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field. Additionally, Danish has gained valuable experience through various internships, project management roles, and research projects, demonstrating expertise in vibration analysis and automation technologies.
