Magda Martinez

Magda Martinez serves as Chief Operating Officer at The Welcoming Center, a nonprofit in Philadelphia dedicated to immigrant integration and economic growth since February 2022. Previously, Magda held the position of Board President for the Philadelphia Cultural Fund, promoting arts and culture as vital components of social and economic development since September 2014. Magda also acted as Chief Operating Officer at Mural Arts Philadelphia from August 2018 to March 2022 and was Director of Programs at the Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial from March 2002 to August 2018. Additional experience includes involvement with the Stockton Rush Bartol Foundation and teaching roles at various arts organizations. Magda holds a BA in Latin American Studies from Wesleyan University.
