Abi Tierney

Abi Tierney is the current Chief Executive Officer at WRU - Welsh Rugby Union and also holds the position of Non-Executive Director at DHU Health Care CIC. Previously, Abi served as the Registrar General for England and Wales at the UK Home Office. With a background in business development and strategy, Abi has also held leadership positions at Serco, University Hospitals Leicester, and Aberdeen City Council. Abi holds a D.Phil in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology from the University of Oxford, among other degrees from esteemed institutions.
