Tom Edwards

Tom Edwards is a seasoned rugby development professional with extensive experience in coaching and player development. Currently serving as a Rugby Development Officer with the Welsh Rugby Union since January 2023, Tom previously held the position of Head Coach at Blaenavon RFC for two seasons. As an experienced player, Tom has portrayed significant roles, including playing for Samurai Rugby Football Club and representing Wales as a 7s International. Tom's early career included semi-professional play at Ebbw Vale RFC and development within the Newport Gwent Dragons Academy. Tom holds a National Diploma in Public Administration and Social Service Professions from Coleg Gwent and has foundational education in Communication and Media Studies from Nantyglo Comprehensive School.
