Troy Beer

National Director Of Church Growth at The Wesleyan Church

Troy Beer has had a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different organizations. Troy began their career in 1999 as the Founding Pastor of Riverside Community Church, where they served for almost 9 years. In 2008, they transitioned to work as a Chaplain at Scripture Union Queensland, supporting primary school children with emotional and relational issues. After that, in 2010, Troy took on the role of Australian Director at Destiny Rescue, a non-profit organization focused on rescuing children from the sex slave trade in South East Asia. Following this, they worked as an Educator at Cybersafe247 in 2011. In 2012, Troy became the Senior Pastor at Axis Church, where they dedicated himself to shepherding the congregation and leading them to a deeper relationship with Christ. Most recently, in 2017, they took on the position of National Director of Church Growth at The Wesleyan Church.

Troy Beer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), which was obtained from 1991 to 1993. Troy also has an Associate diploma in leadership in Pastoral Ministry from Hillsong College, completed in 1995. Additionally, Troy has a Master's degree in Christian ministry from Indiana Wesleyan University, earned from 1997 to 1998. Prior to these qualifications, they attended Craigslea State High School from 1986 to 1990.
