WEST Group is an Australian media, community and technology company built around Travel, Food and Culture connecting places, experiences and people that make every community worth exploring — whether it’s living local or travelling somewhere new.

WEST exists to inspire people to discover what’s right on their doorstep: neighbourhoods, places, flavours, cultures and stories and to make it easy to go and experience it.

At its core, WEST is about curiosity, discovery and connection. Every new experience builds understanding. Every connection strengthens a community, and stronger communities instil pride to help local businesses thrive.

Across everything WEST creates — The West Journal, the WEST App and the WEST Ambassador network — we hold to a single philosophy: celebrating what’s great about local. There are no ratings, no negative commentary and no reviews anywhere in the WEST ecosystem.

WEST is an independent media platform that sells advertising across print, web, digital, social and app-based channels — giving businesses brand-safe, high-quality access to an engaged audience actively seeking something new.

“Curiosity sparks a plan, the plan becomes an experience and the experience builds community.”
