Josh Short is a board member at The Wilbury Theatre Group. Josh has also served as the artistic director and creative marketing specialist at Plan International USA and the assistant executive director at the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival.

Short has always been passionate about the arts. Josh discovered their love for theater while in high school and went on to study drama in college. After graduation, they worked in various theater festivals and companies, honing their skills in marketing and arts management. In 2011, they joined Plan International USA as a creative marketing specialist. In this role, they were responsible for promoting the organization's work through various creative channels.

In 2012, Short joined the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival as its assistant executive director. In this role, they helped found the festival and contribute to its growth. The festival celebrates the work of Tennessee Williams by presenting their classic and undiscovered plays, the work of their peers, and new work inspired by Williams' creative vision worldwide.

In 2015, Short became the artistic director of The Wilbury Theatre Group. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all artistic aspects of the theater company. Josh has helped the company produce numerous successful productions, including "The Importance of Being Earnest" and "A Streetcar Named Desire."

Josh Short has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Performance Studies from the University of Rhode Island. Josh is certified as a COVID-19 Compliance Officer for Theatre, Music Video, Commercial, Television and Film Production Sets from Health Education Services. Josh has also completed the Dismantling Racism Learning Lab from Equity Quotient with Keryl McCord, the Anti-Racist Theatre program from Conscientious Theatre Training, and the Board Chair / Executive Director Coaching program from Initiative for Nonprofit Excellence.
