Mycah Hogan

Educational Programs Manager at The Wilbury Theatre Group

Mycah Hogan has a diverse range of work experience in the arts and education sectors. They are currently working as the Educational Programs Manager at The Wilbury Theatre Group since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Lecturer at Brown University starting from September 2019. From July 2019, Mycah worked as the Dean of Enrichment and Expeditions at Achievement First. They also held the role of Founding Theater Teacher at AF Providence Mayoral Elementary from July 2013 to July 2018.

In terms of theater production experience, Mycah worked as part of the production crew at Majestic Theatre from October 2012 to June 2013. Their responsibilities included assisting the Technical Director, Stage Manager, and Production Designers in various tasks such as set construction, lighting, and carpentry. Additionally, they have experience in outreach coordination and education programs, having served as an Outreach Coordinator at The Drama Studio from September 2012 to June 2013, and as an English Teacher at Move Up Rosario from January 2012 to June 2012.

Before entering the theater industry, Mycah worked as the Head Instructor of Drama at Kids Creative from June 2009 to June 2010. In this role, they developed and implemented an after-school curriculum and provided instruction and supervision to students from kindergarten to sixth grade, with a focus on empowering their creativity and creating a positive classroom environment.

Mycah Hogan attended the NYU Tisch School of the Arts from 2005 to 2007. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Drama.
