Hally Bert is an experienced urban planner and program manager currently serving as the Urban to Wild: Albuquerque Program Manager at The Wilderness Society since February 2024. Previously, Hally held the role of Urban Planner with the City of Albuquerque from December 2022 to January 2024 and was a Community + Regional Planning Graduate Student at The University of New Mexico from August 2020 to November 2022. During time at The University of New Mexico, Hally also worked as a Project Assistant at the Design and Planning Assistance Center, focusing on community-based research, report development, and equitable community engagement. Hally's professional background includes various roles in community engagement and planning, including Community Partnerships Manager at Downtown: On the Go! and Community and Business Outreach Specialist for the City of Tacoma. Hally holds a Master of Community + Regional Planning from The University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy, Mathematics, and Law and Society from Bates College. Additionally, Hally studied Multiculturalism and Human Rights in Rabat, Morocco.
