Meda DeWitt, MA., TH. has extensive experience in various roles focused on traditional healing and wellness. Currently serving as Sr. Specialist for Alaska at The Wilderness Society since June 2020, Meda has also been the Director at Haa Jooní Productions since June 2016. Prior experience includes ownership of Hands Of Wisdom from October 2007 to October 2023 and founding AAN HIT from June 2000 to October 2023. Meda contributed to wellness initiatives at ANTHC from March 2011 to September 2018 and worked as a Massage Therapist at Arctic Chiropractic from April 2009 to October 2012. Academic achievements include a Master of Arts in AKN Traditional Healing from Alaska Pacific University and a Bachelor of Arts in AKN Traditional Healing: SE Rites of Passage, along with various other qualifications in traditional and manual therapies.
