Rebecca Perez

Rebecca Perez is an experienced program manager currently with The Wilderness Society since January 2023. Prior roles include program coordinator and field instructor at Ironwood Tree Experience from August 2021 to January 2023, as well as graduate student researcher at the Center for Community and Citizen Science at the University of California, Davis from September 2019 to December 2020. Prior to that, Rebecca served as program coordinator at Linking Southwest Heritage Through Archeology and intern-instructor at Cooper Center for Environmental Learning. Earlier in their career, Rebecca held positions as site coordinator and program coordinator at Literacy Connects from October 2014 to October 2016. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Literacy Learning and Leadership with a focus on Environmental Sustainability and Education from the University of Arizona and ongoing doctoral studies in Education with a Science and Agricultural Education emphasis at the University of California, Davis. Additionally, Rebecca has an Associate General Education Certificate from Pima Community College.
