Tim Woody is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and editing. Since June 2011, Tim has served as the Alaska Communications Manager for The Wilderness Society. Previously, Tim held various editorial roles at Alaska magazine from February 2001 to June 2011, including Editor and Managing Editor. Tim has also contributed to numerous publications between 1987 and 2009, showcasing writing and photography in notable outlets such as The Alaska Wilderness Guide and the Anchorage Daily News. Earlier in Tim's career, positions included Copy Editor at the Anchorage Daily News and the Santa Fe New Mexican, Technical Editor at Allied-Signal Aerospace, and News Reporter at The Arizona Republic. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Arizona State University, completed in 1987.
