Craig Bennett currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Wildlife Trusts and holds the position of Honorary Professor of Sustainability and Innovation at Alliance Manchester Business School. Bennett is also a Policy Fellow at the University of Cambridge and a Senior Associate at The University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, where strategic guidance and support for executive programs are provided. Previously, Bennett was the Chief Executive Officer of Friends of the Earth and has extensive experience in policy strategy and campaigning, including a significant role as Director of Policy and Campaigns for Friends of the Earth. Educational credentials include an MSc in Conservation from UCL and a BSc (Hons) in Human and Physical Geography from the University of Reading.

We manage thousands of nature reserves and run marine conservation projects around our coasts. There are 46 Wildlife Trusts covering the UK, the Isle of Man and Alderney. Each of the 46 Wildlife Trusts is an independent charity with its own trustees.
