Renita Thomas-Franklin is the founder of Moms Allyship Against Racism (MAAR), a position held since May 2020. Renita serves as the Artistic Director of the Hollywood Thespian Company, which has been a professional engagement since December 1989, and is also an actress within the performing arts sector. In administrative roles, Renita has been with The Willows Community School since March 2000, fulfilling the responsibilities of assisting the Director of Admissions and previously as the Front Office Administrative Assistant from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, Renita worked as an Executive Office Assistant at the USC Shoah Foundation from March 2015 to January 2022, providing support to the executive team of an organization dedicated to preserving Holocaust testimonies and promoting education against prejudice. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Dramatics Arts/Communications from Jackson State University and an Associate Degree in Visual Merchandising/Marketing Communications from FIDM.
