The Wily Network
Ashley Linell currently serves as the Director of Development and Communications at The Wily Network, an organization dedicated to supporting students facing significant life challenges such as homelessness and family issues. In this role since October 2017, Ashley focuses on providing essential resources, including clinical coaching and financial assistance, to help these students succeed academically and personally. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Events at Horizons for Homeless Children and as the Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Affairs at Dedham Country Day School. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Elementary Special Education from the University of Vermont, completed in 1987.

The Wily Network
The Wily Network works with students who are navigating college independently. We offer weekly clinical coaching, financial assistance, community-building, and networking opportunities to help Wily Scholars move from surviving to thriving. Wily Scholars bring unique experiences, challenges, strengths and goals to the college journey. Some have experienced homelessness or foster care, some have been denied family support due to their sexual orientation or gender identity, some have lost their parents, and some have family members dealing with addiction, mental illness or incarceration. All are talented and motivated, and all are braving college on their own. Wily works to ensure Scholars have the tools and networks necessary to thrive in four-year residential colleges and transition successfully into post-college life.
