Vice President Of Events at The Women's Network

Sydney Bambardekar's work experience includes various roles in different organizations. Sydney is currently an Incoming Risk Adjustment Analyst at Healthfirst, starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they served as the President of the Zeta Theta Chapter at Delta Gamma. Sydney also held leadership positions in The Women's Network, serving as the Vice President of Events and later as the President of The Women's Network at Columbia. Sydney worked as a Research Assistant at Columbia's Mortimer B. Zuckerman Mind Brain and Behavior Institute, primarily in the Shohamy lab, where they focused on learning, memory, and decision-making in humans. Sydney was also a Summer Research Institute Candidate at Barnard College. Other experiences include roles in the Columbia University Black Pre-Professional Society, Columbia University Public Health Club, Bumble, and HeForShe. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Medical Intern at Children's Hospital Los Angeles Medical Group, where they gained hands-on clinical experience.

Sydney Bambardekar attended Palos Verdes Peninsula High School from 2015 to 2019. After completing their high school education, Sydney enrolled in Barnard College. From 2019 to 2023, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience and Behavior, with minors in Science and Public Policy, as well as Africana Studies.
