Amanda Pahukoa

Amanda Pahukoa is a dedicated social worker with extensive experience in various roles within the field. Currently working at The Woodlands at Furman since November 2021, Amanda previously served as a case manager at Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina, where responsibilities included establishing patient trust and coordinating psychosocial assessments. Prior to that, Amanda contributed to disaster recovery efforts at the South Carolina Disaster Recovery Office, assisting low-income families affected by Hurricane Matthew. Amanda's diverse background also includes positions as an on-call weekend social worker at Agape Hospice, community advocate at Palmetto Health, and internships at Regency Hospice and the West Virginia Veterans Nursing Facility. Amanda holds a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from West Virginia University, along with an Associate of Arts from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
