Darren Cobb has had an extensive and varied work experience in the field of information technology. Darren started as a Project Manager II at Disneyland Resort, where they managed technology projects related to ticketing, safety, and risk management. Darren then worked as a Manager of Web Development at thebigstore.com before joining Standard Pacific Homes as a Director of Application Development and Business Analysis. In this role, they oversaw teams supporting employees across multiple offices and worked on projects such as website development and ERP system replacements.
Darren then moved on to Buchanan Street Partners as a Senior Director of Information Services, where they led an in-house team and worked on various projects including ERP and CRM application replacements. Darren later joined inhouseIT as a Senior Director of IT Services, managing a client services team and overseeing organizational restructure and infrastructure upgrades.
After that, Darren joined Axis Technical Group as a Senior Director of Technology Services, where they directed multiple international teams and worked on projects such as ERP migrations and CRM implementations. Darren then joined Segerstrom Center for the Arts as a Director of Information Technology, leading an in-house team and working on projects related to website development and infrastructure upgrades.
Darren then returned to Axis Technical Group as a Vice President of Professional Services, overseeing international teams and providing strategic consulting and planning to senior leadership across multiple industries. Darren'sresponsibilities also included managing internal IT operations.
Before their current role, Darren worked as a Principal Consultant, independently consulting for various companies. Currently, Darren is the Vice President of Information Technology at The Word & Brown Companies, where they lead multiple teams focused on application development and modernization efforts.
Throughout their career, Darren has demonstrated leadership and expertise in a wide range of technology-related projects and has worked in various industries, including entertainment, financial services, real estate, managed services, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Darren Cobb attended Rancho Santiago College from 1984 to 1987. During their time there, they studied Communications and English, although they did not obtain a degree in either field.
