Deante Lavender

Deante Lavender is an experienced leader in both pastoral care and organizational management. Currently serving as Lead Pastor at The Remedy Church and Campus Manager at The Word Church, Deante oversees member care, community engagement, and operational administration while contributing to the church's overall vision. Previous experience includes roles such as Production Group Leader at General Motors, where Deante implemented departmental initiatives and developed employee skills, as well as Operations Manager at At Your Service Realty LLC, overseeing staff and rental management. Deante's background also features experience in marketing and account management at Brokaw Inc., and youth outreach coordination, complemented by a Master's Degree in Practical Theology from Ashland University and a Bachelor's Degree in English from Baldwin Wallace University.
