The Working Women's Centre SA Inc provides free legal advice, information, support, and advocacy workers in South Australia. This includes: - Wage Theft -unfair or unlawful termination - Parental Leave - Family violence & work - Discrimination - National employment standards - The Modern Award System - Workplace entitlements - Workplace bullying - Redundancy - Sham contracting - Interpretation & enforcement of employment contracts. We are also experts in gender-based workplace issues and take pride in assisting working women and gender diverse folk with their unique experience of the workplace. The Centre also provides training and information sessions to schools, TAFE, universities, organizations and community groups. Our training programs are shaped by research, which has been developed to identify primary issues for vulnerable workers, intervention & prevention strategies. We provide training on topics such as: - Recognise and Respond to Domestic and Family Violence in the Workplace - Workplace Equity and Respect - Defining and Handling Workplace Bullying - Preventing and Addressing Sexual Harassment. - Responding to Domestic and Family Violence Disclosures - COVID-19 Virtual Training Seminars All training packages can be tailored to organisational need and new topics can be developed in consultation with your workplace.
