Alice Bitmead

Alice Bitmead is a Senior Lawyer at The Working Women's Centre SA Inc since May 2023, previously serving as a Federal Prosecutor at the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions from October 2020 to May 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Lawyer for the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety from January 2019 to October 2020 and as a Judge’s Associate at the District Court of South Australia from January 2017 to January 2019. Alice Bitmead holds a Bachelor of International Studies and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Adelaide, as well as a Diploma of Sustainable Living in Environmental Science from the University of Tasmania. Additionally, study was undertaken at Lund University from January to June 2015.
