Jacob Miller

Patient & Community Engagement Board Member at The Wright Center for Community Health

Jacob Miller serves as a chief resident liaison for The Wright Center for Patient and Community Engagement Board. Originally hailing from Tucson, Arizona, he completed his undergraduate work in microbiology and graduate work in biomedical sciences and epidemiology at the University of Arizona. He went on to attend St. George’s University School of Medicine, where he completed his M.D. and is currently working toward his MBA.

Throughout his studies, Dr. Miller has served on the executive board of multiple professional and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Dedicated to providing education and improving access to health care, he has spent time working in Guatemala, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Haiti. He works to bring the lessons learned through these travels to improve access to health care for residents of Northeast Pennsylvania.

Serving the community, and providing care to those who need it most, has moved Dr. Miller to join the Patient and Community Engagement Board, where he hopes to bridge the connections between The Wright Center’s physician learners and the community.
