Darcey Doyle Gohring is a seasoned writer and editor with extensive experience in human interest and lifestyle content, showcased through publications such as Newsweek, Business Insider, and HuffPost. Currently self-employed as a writer and editor since February 2003, Darcey also serves as a writing instructor at The Writers Circle, focusing on memoir and essay development. From January 2022 to July 2024, Darcey held dual roles as Director of Zibby Classes and Writing Community and writing instructor at Zibby Owens Media, where qualitative feedback and personal narrative specialization were emphasized. Previous roles include managing editor at New Jersey Countryside Magazine and research assistant/contributing writer at New Jersey Monthly Magazine. Darcey holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Green Mountain College.

The Writers Circle offers workshops for both children and adults. The Writers Circle embraces writers of all ages, experience and skill levels and aims to create a supportive, nurturing environment where each writer can discover and develop his or her unique voice. In The Writers Circle, new and experienced writers explore their relationship with creativity and self-expression while developing a body of work for publication or personal growth.
