Michaela Cavallaro

Michaela Cavallaro is an accomplished executive editor at The Writing Company since January 2006, specializing in content creation for clients in financial services, technology, healthcare, and business while mentoring freelance writers. In addition to serving as a contributing editor for Down East Magazine since 2004, Michaela has held the position of associate editor in a self-employed capacity and has recent publications in Maine Homes magazine. Michaela's experience includes a role as writing instructor at The Salt Institute for Documentary Studies and prior editorial roles at Mainebiz, culminating in the position of editor-in-chief from 2004 to 2005. Early career experience includes working as a news assistant at the Portland Press Herald. Michaela holds an MA in Writing and Publishing from Emerson College and a BA in English and Women's Studies from Alfred University.
