Andrew Wildon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and audit functions. Currently serving as Product Director at The49 and Risk Advisory Director at Valconia since 2019, Andrew previously held the position of Chief Risk Officer at NHBC from 2014 to 2019, overseeing risk management, capital management, and complaint handling. A former Senior Manager in Business Risk Services at Grant Thornton LLP, Andrew provided risk and audit assurance services to financial services companies. Prior roles include Head of Audit and Audit Transformation at AXA India and Senior Audit Manager at AXA UK, where responsibilities encompassed auditing and transformation initiatives. Andrew began their career as a Financial and Management Accountant at Royal London, gaining foundational experience in various financial roles. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from the University of Derby and is a member of the ACCA.
