Andrea Daniel

Andrea Daniel is an experienced copy editor and page designer with a background spanning over a decade in the journalism industry. Currently working at The Advocate and The Times-Picayune | Nola.com since September 2012, Andrea exhibits strong leadership skills by managing conflicts and motivating team members, while also contributing to layout decisions and article discussions. Prior experience includes roles at The Galveston County Daily News, where complex design assignments were undertaken, and St. Tammany News, where skills in pagination, editorial content organization, and teamwork were developed. Andrea's career began in retail at Winn-Dixie as a cashier trainer and assistant front-end manager. A graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications.
