Patrick Conlon has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as an Intelligence Analyst and Linguist at the United States Department of Defense. In this role, they were responsible for planning, implementing, and shaping mission priorities at the NSA. Patrick also authored numerous reports that were highly valued by the U.S.

In 2019, Patrick joined Twitter as the Global Lead of Threat Intelligence. Patrick managed the threat intelligence program for Twitter's Threat Disruption team, focusing on platform manipulation and inauthentic behavior. Patrick played a key role in improving systems for documenting investigative findings and using them to enhance Twitter's security. Patrick also guided the process of selecting investigations for public disclosure in the Twitter Moderation Research Consortium.

Most recently, Patrick began working at Alethea in 2023 as a Principal Analyst.

Patrick Conlon's education history begins in 2004 when they enrolled at the University of Kentucky. Patrick pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and also earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the same institution, completing both degrees in 2009. After a gap of a few years, Patrick returned to academic pursuits in 2013 and attended the University of Virginia, where they completed a Master of Arts degree in Linguistics in 2015.
