Carlos Batista

Carlos Batista is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and digital solutions. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at TheAppLabb, Carlos leads technological innovation and strategy while managing the engineering team to deliver AI-powered solutions for various sectors, including retail and healthcare. Prior roles include Head of Technology at Nurun, where Carlos focused on scalable digital platforms for enterprise clients, and Chief Technology Officer at Cansulta, where responsibilities included directing engineering and technical architecture. Carlos has also held positions as Technical Director at ICF Next and Engineering Manager at GDesign. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor in Science in Computer Science - Software Engineering from the University of Toronto and degrees in Software Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana and Polytechnic Institute of Computer Science in Venezuela.
