Maria-Sofia Dimitriadou has a diverse background in arts management and marketing, currently serving as the Marketing/PR for Dortmunder Philharmoniker at Theater Dortmund since November 2019. This role involves the development of marketing strategies, planning and controlling marketing activities, managing budgets, acquiring partners, and overseeing general event management. Prior experience includes roles in project process management at Konzerthaus Berlin, where Maria-Sofia focused on the enhancement of the orchestra academy's sponsorship and financial planning, as well as assistant arts manager at Channell Arts. Maria-Sofia also held leadership positions in orchestral administration and management with das junge orchester NRW and ensemble mini. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practice from Universität Hildesheim, a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from The University of Göttingen, and studies at Bath Spa University.
