Mary Tierney

Mary Tierney is an accomplished actor and director with extensive experience in the theater, currently engaged with the Theater for the New City since 1989, where responsibilities include conducting workshops and performing in productions such as the musical comedy TRUCE. As a member of TNC's Board of Directors, Mary contributes to fundraising and acts as a liaison with elected officials. Previous roles include serving as a Community Ambassador for TimeBanksNYC and advocating for senior interests during the Bloomberg Campaign in 2009. Additionally, Mary has experience in public relations with the New York New Media Association during the internet boom. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from New York University, along with language certificates from Yale University and interdisciplinary studies at Notre Dame of Maryland University.
