Howard Menaker

Howard Menaker is currently a Council Member at Theater J. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director at Quintessence Theatre Group from August 2019 to August 2021. Howard has also held the position of Manager of Executive Office and Board Engagement at Shakespeare Theatre Company from October 2013 to August 2019. Other notable positions include Accounting Associate at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater from September 2011 to August 2012, and Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at Valmieras pārgaujas valsts ģimnāzija from August 2012 to June 2013. Menaker's experience also includes managing Pointless Theatre Co. from May 2011 to September 2019, as well as coordinating the Summer Youth Employment Program at DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities from May 2010 to August 2010.

Howard Menaker has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. Howard also has a Drama and Science Magnet from North Springs Charter High School. Lastly, they have a Major in Theatre/Theater from the Georgia Governor's Honors Program.
