Jason Herbert

Jason A Herbert is an experienced technical professional in the performing arts industry, currently serving as the Associate Technical Director at Theatre Cedar Rapids since November 2021. Previously, Jason held positions as Technical Director at Swift Creek Mill Theatre and as Production Artist at Richmond Ballet, where responsibilities included lighting design, programming Ion lighting desks, and carpentry. Additional experience includes roles as Technical Director and Resident Designer at Studio Roanoke, as well as a Sound Engineer and Lighting Designer at Jefferson Center. Earlier in Jason's career, roles included Lighting Director for the UniverSoul Circus and Master Electrician at Mill Mountain Theatre, showcasing a diverse skill set in lighting, sound engineering, and stage management.
