Jill Bowers

Jill Bowers is the Costume Director at Theatreworks. Jill has been in this position since January 1986. Prior to that, they were a Freelance Costume Designer for various theatre companies in the Twin Cities area. Jill has been involved in theatre for over 40 years and has designed costumes for hundreds of productions. Her attention to detail and passion for their work is evident in every costume they create.

Jill Bowers completed their undergraduate degree in theatre at the University of Michigan and then went on to earn their MFA in theatre arts--design from the University of Minnesota.

Jill Bowers works with William Liberatore - Resident Musical Director, Christopher Fitzer - Properties Director, and Phil Santora - Executive Director. Madison Miller - Wardrobe Manager, Yen La Wong - Lead Cutter & Draper, and Lisa Claybaugh - Assistant Costumer report to Jill Bowers. Their manager is Tim Bond, Artistic Director.
