Sireesh Nallanthighal

Sireesh Nallanthighal has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. In 2023, they joined Avenues Group as a Non Executive Director / Trustee, where they contribute to providing specialist support services for individuals with autism, learning disability, and acquired brain injury. Prior to that, in 2022, they co-founded and served as the CTO of TheCarCrowd, aiming to revolutionize investment and make it more accessible and passion-led.

From 2018 to 2022, Sireesh worked for Aldi UK, starting as a Digital Transformation Lead, leading a business and IT digital transformation project. Sireesh also served as the Innovation Lead, establishing and launching ALDI Shop&Go, the company's first checkout-free store globally. Additionally, they held the role of National IT Director, accountable for the IT infrastructure and payments system for Aldi stores in Great Britain and Ireland, including managing relationships with external partners and suppliers. Sireesh began their journey at Aldi as a National IT Manager, responsible for transitioning retail operations management into supporting the IT infrastructure and bridging the gap between technical and business functions. Before that, they worked as an Area Manager.

Sireesh Nallanthighal completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Birmingham from 2001 to 2006.
